Feeling the cold weather and want a warming treat to sweeten your day? For a different spin on the traditional hot chocolate, try this decadent Slim Hot Chocolate made using C Coconut Water.
• Get bold flavour and antioxidants by using dark chocolate.
• Replace added sugar with the natural sweetness of C Coconut Water.
• Keep it creamy – without dairy – by using melted marshmallows.
– 1 cup C Coconut Water
– 30 grams dark chocolate bar with almonds broken into pieces
– 1 tblspn unsweetened cocoa powder
– ½ cup mini marshmallows
In a small, heavy saucepan, heat the C Coconut Water and dark chocolate over medium heat.
Sift in the cocoa, stirring, until the mixture comes to a simmer, about 5 minutes.
Divide the hot chocolate between four mugs and top with the marshmallows.
